The opposite monsoon season brings more frequent rain showers, stronger winds, and choppier seas. Short, heavy downpours can interrupt plans but often pass quickly; this time of year offers quieter islands, lower room rates, and good surf conditions on exposed breaks. Boat schedules may be less predictable, so allow extra time for island transfers and expect occasional itinerary changes. Year-round diving and snorkeling are still viable, though visibility and current strength vary with the season and specific sites.
