Summer (Jun–Aug): Hot (25–32°C+), peak tourist season and beach time. Expect crowds and high prices; festivals include Sónar (June) and Festa Major de Gràcia (mid‑August). Autumn (Sep–Nov): Warm in September (18–26°C) then cooling. Another excellent shoulder period — La Mercè (late September) is the city’s biggest festival, with comfortable weather and thinning crowds by October. Winter (Dec–Feb): Mild but cooler (6–15°C), often rainy. Off‑peak with lower prices, festive Christmas markets and the Three Kings parade (Jan 5). Note large conferences (e.g., Mobile World Congress in Feb) can temporarily spike demand.
